After five years of no cricket, India and Pakistan will play again during the Christmas break of 2012. The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) at its working committee meeting on Monday took the decision that India will host Pakistan to play three One Day International and two T20 matches in December 2012-January 2013. The plan, as per BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla's announcement, is to hold the three ODIs in Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata, and the Twenty20 matches in Ahmedabad and Bangalore.

Delhi ODI - India win low-scoring thriller by 10 runs [IND-PAK:1-2(3/3)]

India pulled off a 10-run win over Pakistan in a low-scoring thriller at chilly Ferozeshah Kotla, avoiding a series whitewash in a match played under extremely chilly and windy conditions. The Indians were first bundled out for a paltry 167 in 43.4 overs, but Pakistan failed to overcome the measly target as the were bowled out for 157 in the 49th over.For India, Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (36), Suresh Raina (31) and Ravindra Jadeja (27) were the top contributors. Pakistan's Saeed Ajmal was the pick of the bowlers with five-wicket haul for 24 runs. Dhoni won the Man of the Match award, while Nasir Jamshed was the Man of the Series for his back to back hundreds in the first two ODIs.
