The inaugural Twenty20 World cup final, on Monday, is a marketing man's dream - with Pakistan taking on India.
India held its nerve against a brave charge by Australia to win the spectacle by a handsome margin of 15 runs after setting a target of 189 while earlier in the day, Umar Gul's sensational seam bowling and Imran Nazir's half-century ensured Pakistan the first spot in the ICC World Twenty20 final at New Zealand's expense.
Chasing a target of 144 runs, after a combination of poor batting and excellent bowling restricted New Zealand to 143-8 from their 20 overs, Pakistan won the semi-final encounter at the Newlands cricket ground in Cape Town by six wickets after knocking off 147 runs in 18.5 overs. A middle order collapse had cost New Zealand vital runs after a promising start, Ross Taylor top-scoring with 37.
At Durban, brilliant left-hander Yuvraj Singh hit 70 off just 30 balls as India won the toss and recovered spectacularly from a sluggish start to total 188-5. Australia crumbled when 30 were needed from the last three to end on 173-7.

Tests to be viewing phenomenon
India's historic cricket tour of Pakistan, starting this week, will be a television phenomenon, particularly the one-day internationals, each of which is expected to be watched by a massive 600 million TV viewers on the subcontinent alone.
Sky will screen the Pakistan-India matches exclusively here, having just formalised a deal with ARY, the satellite broadcaster whose target audience is the Indian and Pakistani communities in Britain and Europe.

India-Pak matches will not be blocked: Ten Sports
New Delhi: Ten Sports today stated there would be no blackout of the matches from Pakistan since the network has finalised its arrangements with the various multi-service operators (MSOs) all over the country. Ms Sharmishtha Rajwani, Managing Director of Taj TV which owns Ten Sports, told UNI in a telephonic interview from Mumbai, ''We have already closed the deals in all the major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata and therefore the telecast would be received without interruption by cable and satellite subscribers all over the country.'' She, however, admitted that there were some differences to be ironed out with the MS0 Hathway but expressed confidence that the negotiations would work out smoothly.
The subscription rate for telecast of the India-Pakistan series will continue to be Rs 14 - the price Ten Sports has been charging since it was launched in India two years ago, she added.

TV channel Ten Sports on Friday agreed to provide live telecast feed to Doordarshan and all cable TV operators for Cricket One-Day International between India and Pakistan for Saturday.
